Mission Statement The Animal Rehabilitation division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association , advocates that registered physiotherapists are the professionals of choice to provide animal rehabilitation. The division is a resource for the best practice of animal rehabilitation through education, professional development and communication within the animal health care industry.

- To increase the awareness of and access to animal rehabilitation by registered physiotherapists
Activities

Production of a quarterly newsletter providing information on anatomy, treatment techniques, recent advances, upcoming courses and news about the division.

Promoting the field of animal physiotherapy provincially, nationally and internationally. The Executive provides communication to CPA, and is currently involved in obtaining further provincial/college recognition, as well as pursuing a credentialing program. They are also initiating a move to establish an animal rehabilitation sub-group within the WCPT.

Providing canine and equine courses to physiotherapists to train new Animal Rehabilitation division members, and continue the education of existing ones.
